Stourbridge shuttle services resumes after being forced out of action

Stourbridge's shuttle service has restarted after being taken out of action due to ongoing track repairs and potential vehicle defects. The service, considered to be the shortest branch line in Europe and three quarters of a mile long, makes roughly 214 trips every weekday. It runs to and from Stourbridge Town Station and Stourbridge Junction Station but was taken out of service on May 6 before turning on Thursday.

Buses replace Stourbridge Shuttle due to fault

BUSES are running in place of the Stourbridge Shuttle until Friday, April 8 due to a fault in the train. The renowned shuttle between Stourbridge Junction and Stourbridge Town is closed due to a train fault. West Midlands Railway tweeted: “Due to a train fault, buses will be running in place of trains between Stourbridge Town – Stourbridge Junction until Friday 8 April.”
