The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has come under heavy attack from many after he announced that 5 pastors from the church have been kidnapped.
Adeboye had said that the pastors were kidnapped on their way to the church ministers’ conference on Thursday, July 1st, 2019.
One of those who tackled the RCCG GO, was a former spokesman to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, Mr. Reno Omokri, who said that the revered clergyman had failed to speak up about the insecurity in the country in Buhari’s administration as he did during the Goodluck Jonathan era.
He further said that evil thrives when good men are silent.
I am rather disappointed in GO Adeboye. Under @GEJonathan, RCCG was very PUBLICLY vocal about insecurity. But under General @MBuhari Adeboye lost his voice. Today, he is angry that 5 RCCG pastors were kidnapped.

Other Nigerians as well made their thoughts known on this issue, with many attacking the Pastor.

5 pastors of RCCG were kidnapped and pastor Adeboye calls for prayers.This in my view is hypocrisy of 1st order.Meanwhile in Enugu, Catholic priest match to the street to demand that the Government of the day should address the rising insecurity in the state…that for me makes..

Adeboye has been silent even as Nigerians have been dying. You don't want to criticize the wicked government and as such, you've been enabling them. Now the rot that you've been silent about has come to visit.

Pastor Enoch Adeboye, of the Redeem Church, who in 2010 Petitioned Jonathan, to stage 1million man protest over kidnapping of 3 of it's ordinary members;

“As a father, how do you think I should feel to hear that five of my children have been kidnapped while on their way to attend the Ministers Conference?”- Pastor Enoch Adeboye, RCCG.
Dear Sir, it is time for you to condemn and renounce Buhari. If not this madness will NOT stop.

Rhetorical questions need no answers. Adeboye should answer the questions he prepared himself.
