Drunk police officer kills his colleague in Lagos
The Lagos state police command has arrested a police Sergeant whose name has not yet been revealed, for allegedly stabbing an Inspector, Francis Adekunle, to death and injuring another victim while under the influence of alcohol over the weekend.
The erring officer who is currently being detained at the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department (SCIID) Yaba, lives in the same compound in Oke-Odo with his deceased colleague and other tenants. A Nigerian man identified as Oyinkro Miebode is currently writhing in pain after his wife, Maureen, allegedly poured hot water on him while he was asleep in their home in Yenogoa, the Bayelsa state capital on June 3.
Facebook user, Kelvin Ingbaifegha, who shared the story online, said the couple had a quarrel and Oyinkro slapped his wife and asked her to shut up. Little did he know she was plotting her revenge.

Bishop allegedly rapes 19-year-old girl during deliverance in Delta
Detectives from the Nigeria Police Force, NPF, Area Command in Warri, Delta State have arrested the Founder and General Overseer of the Victory Revival Fasting & Prayer Ministry, Bishop Elijah Orhonigbe for allegedly raping a nineteen-year-old girl (names withheld).
The popular cleric was arrested on Friday, June 5.

Covid-19: Six NDDC employees test positive
Six members of staff of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) have tested positive for coronavirus.
According to the commission via its Twitter platform, the six persons were workers in the Office of the Executive Director, Projects, Dr Cairo Ojougboh.
The commission, however, said Ojougboh tested negative for the virus adding that 27 others working in Ojougboh’s department also tested negative.READ MORE>>>
