“I was surprised that just recently, the Chief of Army Staff, Lt. General Tukur Yusuf Buratai stated that, the issue of armed banditry activities in our dear country Nigeria has the total involvement of some unpatriotic politicians, so if that should be the case, let them be exposed and face the wrath of law irrespective of their political position or affiliations if the Federal government is serious to end this crisis,” he said.

MY OPINION ON INSECURITY CHALLENGES FACING SOME STATES IN THE NORTHWESTERN STATES OF NIGERIA.

I am still wondering and skeptical on why would a person kill a person without knowing why he killed him and the person killed doesn’t know why he is been killed, are we not a human being,.

why are we behaving like a wild animals kingdom? Why do approximate authorities are showing a kind of lukewarm attitudes to the value of humanity in my country Nigeria? Are we not deserved to be protected both our lives and properties, are we in civil war period?

Don’t we have security operatives, do they not have intelligence gathering mechanism that could be utilized to tracking down these hoodlums who terrorized the vulnerable citizens of this country? What I fear is that, it will reach a stage where the innocent people will start taken laws into their hands to protect themselves if they were been pushed into the wall.

Government at all levels particularly the Federal government must wake up and find new strategy that could be put in place to fight against banditry activities in our dear country.

It is devastating to say that over 5000 people have lost their dear lives, 3000 widows, 4000 orphans just in one state in the northwest from 2012 to date as a result of the activities of this dreaded group of armed bandits.

To me I think had it been in one of the developed countries such incidents occurred, both President, his security chiefs must relinquish their position because it shows that they are incapacitated to rule their Nation.

People of Zamfara, sokoto, Kaduna and Katsina are in a serious dilemma as a lot of people became cashless, starvation, malnutrition have been the order of the day within their domain as a result of this dreaded group of armed bandits nefarious activities.

The point I want to make here is, the Federal government under the leadership of our able President, Muhammadu Buhari is too slow to handle this problem and he must show a real dedication and concern for this issue rather than compromising it .

I was surprise that just recently the Chief of Army Staff, Lt. General Tukur Yusuf Buratai stated that, the issue of armed banditry activities in our dear country Nigeria has the total involvement of some unpatriotic politicians, so if that should be the case, let them be exposed and face the wrath of law irrespective of their political position or affiliations if the Federal government is serious to end this crisis.

The issue of politicising this trend is over, even if it involved my Biological Mother or Father, relatives, or even I my self, let me be prosecuted without any favor, I swear to Allah the omnipotent who allow me to breath, people have been pushed into the wall and the remaining times are numbered for them to take laws into their hands in that regard.

Let give an example of the just protest made by some communities in Zamfara and Katsina, against insecurity they were been facing, so if this problem persist, I can say we are heading to a rock in this country. I rest my case, but I know the Truth is bitter as some people may miscomprehended me for this short opinion but forgive me please.
