The Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, has announced that there is “no war” going on among him and the Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike.
Amaechi, who was a previous governor of Rivers State, made this clarification amid a meeting on Channels Television breakfast program, Sunrise Daily, on Tuesday.

He clarified that his issues with Wike were because of the spate of instability in the state in the course of recent years.
According to the ex-governor he said that there is no war going on among Wike and him. He said when he met with his companion Akpabio, he had said that there was no dispute between them.

he added that what is happening between Wike and him is the way he would prefer him to run his second term. He revealed that during his first term most people got killed.
and that he has gone ahead to blame the military and not the police because they would not accept bribes from him.
The Minister likewise expressed that amid his organization as Rivers State governor, he researched and guaranteed the capture of culprits of savagery.
