FASHOLA IN SOUP! See What Buhari Allegedly Did To Fashola As He ‘Begs’ For Another Chance

According to reports from Naija News, a former governor of Lagos State and the current Honourable Minister of Power, Works and Housing, Babatunde Raji Fashola, is said to be missing on the list of new ministers set to appointed by President Muhammadu Buhari.

Naija News has it that the former Lagos State governor was appointed as a minister in President Buhari’s cabinent in 2015 and had been given the tag of “super minister” after he became the first Nigerian to head three ministries.

However, while some Nigerians are expecting the former Lagos State Governor to return as a minister in Buhari’s “Next Level”, a new report claims his name is missing on the list.

According to Jackson Ude, a former Director of Strategy/Communication under former President Goodluck Jonathan, Fashola is lobbying to return as minister having missed out on the list of new Buhari’s Ministers being compiled.

The reports from Naija News says that Mr Ude made this allegation on the micro-blogging site, Twitter on Thursday, May 2.

The former Presidential media aide, also alleged that the Comptroller-General of the Nigeria Customs Service (NSC), Col Hameed Ali made the list.

His words: “Babatunde Fashola’s name is missing in the list of new Buhari’s Ministers being compiled. He is lobbying to return.

“CG Customs, Col Hameed Ali makes the list and might become defense minister. Hadiza Bala Usman leaving NPA to become Minister,” Ude tweeted.

Recall that some weeks back, Nigerians blasted the Minister of Power, Housing and Works, Babatunde Raji Fashola after he said that some states in the country now have almost 24 hours supply.

Fashola stated this as he spoke as guest on Sunrise Daily, a programme on Channels Television, he said country’s transmission capacity has increased.

According to Fashola, the transmission capacity has increased to about 8,100 watts as at December 2018.
“Sitting down here I can tell you some states that have almost 24 hours – Kebbi, Yobe. Some have five, some have 10 and there are still outages,” Fashola said.

See some reactions below.

This may not be far from the reason why Fashola is reportedly missing from the new Ministerial list being compiled by the President.
