American singer, songwriter, and actress, Beyonce’s upcoming Lion King album, features a lot of amazing musical talents from Africa. Nigerian talents such as Tiwa Savage, Mr. Eazi, Yemi Alade, Wizkid, and even Burna Boy, are all part of the talented features on the album which will be released on July 19, 2019.

According to Beyonce, “The soundtrack is a love letter to Africa. I wanted to make sure we found the best talent from Africa. Not just use some of the sounds and do my interpretation of it. I wanted it to be authentic about what is beautiful about the music in Africa.”
It’s interesting to note, however, that Davido is not a part of these ‘best talents from Africa’ as he is not among the features on Beyonce’s album.
