BBNaija: Ex-Housemate Officially Joins Bayelsa Governorship Race

With a penchant for attention and widespread name recognition, celebrities have a unique advantage in politics, where simply getting noticed is the first step toward winning a political campaign. There are celebrities who used their superstar status to jump-start their political careers. It appears ex-BBNaija housemate, Angel, is shooting for the stars. The former reality TV star who recently tied the knot with his Canadian lover has released his official poster and announced that he is gunning for the governorship seat in Bayelsa state.

One can recall that Angel back in the Double Wahala house, presented himself as a guy with prospects and goal getter. It comes as no surprise that he is shooting for the stars and hoping to actually lead his home state to the promised land. The ambitious young man took to his Instagram to announce his candidacy and share his official poster which his fans have welcomed with opens arms.

Angel is yet to state under what party he would be running but the ex-BBN housemate posted his photo with the caption: “The reality of life is that power is never given, but always taken. The time of talking about a better Nigeria is gone, now is the time for action. Let us be the change we want to see. It is with this realization that I announce my candidacy for the 2019 Gubernatorial race in Bayelsa state. Let there be light!!!”
