Mental health in Scotland: More than half of young adult Scots in debt lose sleep over their finances

More than half of all young adults in Scotland with debt have lost sleep while worrying about their finances, according to a new study. A poll of 1,016 Scots found that money concerns impacted the sleep of 55 per cent of those aged between 16 and 34 who had debts. Furthermore, almost two-thirds (60 per cent) of young adults in debt felt that their finances have negatively affected their mental health.
