The village of Interlaken still has water issues. Officials say that water is being trucked in from a nearby source after an exceptionally dry 2020 in the region. The Finger Lakes Times reported over the weekend that additional action may be necessary from local officials as they contend with the water shortage. A water conservation order was instituted in the month of November and has continued since without any indication of when it could end. A long-term solution is in the works, according to local officials.
