Liberty Township is moving. Of course, the 33-square-mile, 30,000-plus-population township isn’t actually moving, but its administrative offices are. The township’s lease on office space on Brewster Lane, off Sawmill Parkway near Fire Station 322, ends at the end of February. Dieterich board pushes ahead on park improvements
DIETERICH — Village trustees offered the green light Monday night to start spending more than $500,000 for Liberty Memorial Park improvements during 2021. The village will use Illinois Open Space Land Acquisition and Development grant money to complete a variety of work in or near the park with costs established by bidding. The projects include replacement of the old portion of the Liberty Park pavilion metal roof, costing $21,981; pavilion expansion construction at a cost of $226,606 with the low bid from
