Illinois State Police arrested Bridgeport’s Police Chief Saturday morning for Domestic Battery. Police were called to the 700 block of Adams Street for a domestic disturbance. Following their investigation, troopers arrested 46-year-old Scott Murray for Domestic Battery and Reckless Discharge of a Firearm. Murray was released from the Lawrence County Jail on $4,000 bond.
