Suspect arrested in downtown stabbing

San Diego police arrested a 20-year-old man suspected of stabbing another man with a knife multiple times during an argument about 1:30 a.m. Saturday in the 800 block of 11th Avenue. Pierce Tostado was taken into custody nearby at Park Boulevard and Broadway. The 39-year-old victim was taken to a hospital with wounds all over his body and his condition was listed as serious but stable, police said.
