NASHVILLE ― Fourteen-year-old Brent Crews went back-to-back, winning the Big Machine Vodka SPIKED Coolers Challenge presented by Race for RP at the Music City Grand Prix. Crews stalked Connor Mosack for much of the event before making a late-race pass for the victory. This comes after Crews became the youngest winner in Trans Am history last month when he took the checkered flag at Road America.
Thomas Merrill’s lap of 1m36.195s in his No. 26 BridgeHaul/HP Tuners/Cope Race Cars Ford Mustang was enough to earn him pole position for Sunday’s Trans Am Series presented by Pirelli’s TA2 class race at Sonoma Raceway. It was Merrill’s first Motul Pole Award since Sebring in February of 2021.
Mike Skeen dominated Sunday’s TA2 race at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca, but he had to battle for the win. After recording the fastest lap in practice and grabbing pole position by a half second margin over teammate Rafa Matos, Skeen was a favorite for the checkers.
NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Cole Williams opened up the 2022 racing season at Tennessee’s Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway with a wire-to-wire run to the Pro Late Model victory on Saturday night. Williams and William Hale brought the 35-car field to the green flag at the famed 5/8-mile raceway.
