Development budget not increased during last four years: Ahsan

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Secretary-General Ahsan Iqbal said on Monday that the development budget of the country has not been increased during the last four years, as total development outlay of Rs 2,100 billion in the budget 2021-22 was equal to development outlay approved by the PML-N government in 2017-18.

ISLAMABAD: The Accountability Court, on Thursday, deferred indictment of the former Director General Parks and Horticulture, Karachi, Liaqat Ali Khan Qaimkhani, in assets beyond known source of income case till June 10th. The Accountability Court-III judge, Syed Ashgar Ali, while hearing the case, deferred framing of charge against Qaimkhani till June 10th and directed the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) to produce clear and readable photocopies of some of the documents, which have been part of the reference.

38 revenue officials face NAB references

QUETTA: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has filed three references against 38 officials of the Balochistan Revenue Department for illegally allotting government lands in Gwadar. The references have been filed in the Accountability Court, Quetta. A spokesman for the NAB Balochistan said that the anti-corruption watchdog had unearthed the scandal.
