New System For Collecting Tolls At State-Owned Bridges Goes Into Effect Friday

On Monday, Bay Area Toll Authority announced that a new all-electronic toll collection system will start after midnight New Year's Eve at the Antioch, Benicia-Martinez, Carquinez, Dumbarton, Richmond-San Rafael, San Francisco-Oakland Bay and San Mateo-Hayward bridges.
