Jacksonville Beach police searching for subject they believe stole car from parking garage

The Jacksonville Beach Police Department is searching for a person believed to be involved in a car theft last week. On July 12, an unknown subject stole a 1999 Lincoln Continental with Florida license plate number CCY Q04 from a parking garage at Bluewater Apartments on Beach Boulevard, according to the Jacksonville Beach Police Department.

14-year-old girl shot by fireworks in St. Augustine, police searching for those responsible

They are injuries that caused a gash and a hole on the cheek of Miesha Dux's 14-year-old daughter. A trip to downtown St. Augustine on July 8 ended with a trip to the emergency room. "Her entire face had blood and burns and everything kind of everywhere," Dux explained to First Coast News.

Man injured in Saturday night shooting in Murray Hill area

The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office is investigating a shooting Saturday night in the Murray Hill area. At about 8:30 p.m., officers responded to the 1100 block Edgewood Avenue South after receiving a call about a shooting, according to the JSO. When officers arrived, they found a man in his 30s suffering from a gunshot wound in his extremity, police said.

Crews with the Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department are responding to a fatal crash in the Woodstock area. Crews are on scene are advising that there is one death involved, and two patients in serious condition.

According to an arrest report, the crimes took place over several years starting in 2013 and ending in 2018.

All lanes on I-95 are running smoothly after it was briefly gridlocked from demonstrators protesting the Cuban government. Several law enforcement vehicles have blocked the protesters to only a ramp onto I-95. All lanes of I-95 North appear to be open at this time.
