Troopers Arrest Faribault Man After Twin Cities Stolen Car Chase

Deputies tried to pull the 30-year-old man over just before 7 p.m. near Highway 13 and Highway 5 after his plates matched a vehicle that was stolen in Minneapolis. He fled northbound onto Highway 169, before crashing into another vehicle on the Cedar Lake Road exit ramp near St. Louis Park.

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — As nearly all of Minnesota continues to experience drought conditions, cities are beginning to issue water conservation measures. The city of Minneapolis announced Monday it is implementing odd/even water sprinkling restrictions, meaning those with odd-numbered addresses limit outdoor watering to odd-numbered days, and even-numbered addresses do so on even-numbered days.

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — A man has been sentenced to 28 years in prison for the 2019 shooting deaths of 67-year-old Eileen Mark and her 42-year-old daughter, Jennifer Angerhofer. Richie Vessel, 49, was sentenced this week on two felony counts of second-degree murder. The murders happened at Holmes Park Village Apartments, a building for seniors and people with disabilities, on Feb. 9, 2019.
