The Joy of Radio, Harvey Walsh-Whitfield, Tiffin School

Despite the world that we live in today becoming increasing digital, I still find there is a great joy that one gets listening to radio and there are some many ways that the radio brings a benefit to your life. You may question why one would listen to the radio in a world where you can access music through streaming sites such as Youtube and Spotify and think that the radio is a thing of the past but I believe that radio shows make you feel like connected to all the other listeners and give you a sense of community.

16 but can't vote - Rahul Patel, Tiffin School

I am looking forward to turning 16 soon. There are many things that you can suddenly do at 16, yet you still can't vote. There are 1.5 million 16-17 year olds in the United Kingdom, and 200 000 of these are in London alone. That is approximately one in every 40 people.

Gunnersbury House Local Treasure-William Milne,Tiffin School

The very name ‘Gunnersbury’ comes from Gunylda, King Canut’s niece, who lived in the area until she was forced out of England in 1044. I have many memories of doing parkruns in Gunnersbury Park or rushing in and out of Gunnersbury Station to catch the District Line or trying to defeat the ‘Gunnersbury’ house in my primary school.
