A ST HELENS primary school held a Tourette's Awareness day this week, seeking to remove the stigma associated with the condition. On Thursday, May 19, pupils at St Anne's Primary School in Sutton dressed up in green and were educated on the condition as part of Tourette's Awareness Month.

A tasty portion of tea and cake has helped a social housing charity raise funds for the people of Ukraine. Residents at St John and St Anne communities in Oakham and Uppingham dug into their pockets and raised over £300 to support the Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal. St John and St Anne support worker Vanetia Porter organised three separate events, with the help of governors, one at each of their sites.

THE body of a man was discovered by firefighters after a blaze ripped through a flat in Birkenhead. Both the church itself and the walls surrounding it were sandblasted with decades of grime being removed leaving the stones looking like new.
