According to the Shields Gazette, former Tottenham Hotspur defender Danny Rose has opened up on the difficult period over the last year before his free transfer to Watford. Rose ended his 14-year association with Tottenham this summer, with his contract running down. The left-back was quickly snapped up by newly-promoted Premier League club Watford FC on a two-year contract.
