MIDDLETOWN, Ohio (WXIX) - The family of a Middletown man who has been missing for 35 years received a mysterious photo that they believe could be connected to the case. Teddy Franks vanished during Labor Day weekend 1986. Teddy’s sister Michelle Lowry said Teddy, 19 at the time, got into a fight with his then wife on the day he disappeared and later showed up at his sister Renea’s home.
AKRON, Ohio — Two vehicles were taken Tuesday in separate carjackings that occurred within 25 minutes of each other, according to police. Officers first were called to Patterson Park in the North Hill neighborhood at about 4:05 p.m. The 17-year-old male victim tells police that he was at the park when a group of males approached and that one ripped the car keys from a chain around his neck.

The FDA and CDC are now discussing a third booster shot. It comes after a subcommittee, who advises the FDA, recommended an extra dose for those 65 and up, six months after their first shot, and those who are at heightened risk. The FDA later authorized the extra doses Wednesday night.
Citing statute of limitations, judge dismisses lawsuits involving sexual assault allegations against former Ohio State doctor
CLEVELAND, Ohio – A federal judge Wednesday dismissed the cases of about 300 former students and athletes who accused Ohio State University of covering up the work of a sexual predator who served as a university doctor. U.S. District Judge Michael Watson in Columbus said the claims by the students against the university were barred because the statute of limitations had expired.
