The occupant of the white van was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash which caused power cuts for a number of properties on Medomsley Road A man has died after a van crashed into a house in the Consett area of County Durham. Emergency services were called just before midnight after a van smashed through a wall into a terraced property on Medomsley Road.
