Emergency services called to scene as pedestrian and motorcylist taken to hospital A road is closed after a 14-year-old boy was hit by a motorbike this morning. The rider of the Honda bike was also injured and both were taken to hospital after the crash which has closed the road both ways.

A Wirral man has been charged after an incident involving a machete in New Brighton last week. Police were called to Marine Street Social in New Brighton at around 10.30pm on Friday (June 18) after receiving reports of an incident involving a man brandishing a knife.
