It's opening soon Tim Hortons has announced when it's opening a new restaurant in Essex next month. The famous Canadian fast food chain revealed earlier this year that new sites would be opening in Thurrock and Braintree. Now, Tim Hortons says its new Thurrock restaurant will open on Friday, December 10, at 7am.

Man charged with series of burglaries in Harlow

ESSEX Police has charged a man after a series of burglaries and attempted burglaries in Harlow. Troy Eugene has been charged with two counts of burglary, two counts of fraud by false representation, one count of attempted burglary as well as theft of a motor vehicle. The charges relate to incidents which took place on November 19 and 20.
