Last November, Darlaston were dealt an unimaginable blow as striker Leon Taylor, aged 36, suddenly passed away after being taken ill while at the Paycare Ground.
Friends of a much-loved footballer who died last year aged 36 have produced a flag which is to be displayed at every home game of his former club. Striker Leon Taylor, who lived in Walsall and was well-known across the West Midlands football scene, died last November prompting Darlaston Town 1874 to start a fundraiser for his family.
