Aaron Ramsey has signed his pre-contract agreement to join Juventus in the summer, according to Sky Sports. Aaron Ramsey completed a medical over the weekend ahead of his summer move to Juventus according to Sky in Italy, who suggest the Serie A leaders will announce his signing next month.
He joined Arsenal in June 2008. After meeting officials from Arsenal, Everton and Manchester United, Ramsey had decided to join Arsenal, who paid Cardiff City a total of £4.8 million for the player. The move was completed on 13 June 2008 on what was said to be a long-term contract.
So far, he has scored 61 goals and provided 58 assists for the Gunners. He is in line to earn up to £140,000 a week with the Italian club, which works out at £7.2 million a season. That still leaves football superstar, Cristiano Ronaldo, as Juventus’ highest-paid player by some distance. Ramsey will join Juventus who are nine points clear at the top of Serie A and expected to win their eighth straight league title. However, the club wants to make more of an impression in the Champions League, having featured in two of the last four finals, losing to Barcelona and Real Madrid.
