Trouble For Redeemed Church As Five Pastors Are Kidnapped – Adeboye Calls For Prayers

Five pastors of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) have been abducted while on their way to attend a Ministers’ Conference of the church in Lagos.

Pastor Enoch Adeboye, the General Overseer of RCCG announced the kidnapping on Friday while addressing members of the church at the Redeemed Camp situated along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.

Adeboye, giving further details, said that the act occurred on Thursday along the Ijebu-Ode axis of the road.

He urged members of the church to pray for the abductees to be released.

Pastor Adeboye, further said that this was the first time that such an incident of this scale would be happening.

He went on to pose a question that shows that he was not happy with the development.

In his words: “As a father, how do you think I should feel to hear that five of my children have been kidnapped while on their way to attend the Ministers Conference?” he queried.

  1. We have been saying that unless Daddy lend his strong voice unequivocally, this madness in Nigeria will not stop. His prayers has sustained the situation so far. Can you imagine that those people dare to kidnap five RCCG Pastors. It is an ominous sign. If this is allowed to go the way of others, no ordinary Nigeria will have hope any more. A Catholic Priest was killed like a goat near Enugu as reported yesterday. The contributions of Daddy to the emergence of this government and sustaining its stability deserves reciprocal reward. It is time for Daddy to make a strong political statement. Oyedepo has tried. Every Christian is looking up to RCCG to provide leadership in order to avert war. May God help Nigeria.
