Governors Speak On Hoarding COVID-19 Palliatives
Following reports that COVID-19 Palliatives that were meant to be distributed to Nigerians during the first wave of the COVID-19 pandemic were hoarded by the State governments, the Nigeria Governors’ Forum (NGF) in a statement has denied the allegations, describing it as “inaccurate, entirely erroneous and untrue but also mischievous”.
Within Nigeria recalls that COVID-19 palliatives were distributed by the federal government to states while some were donated by individuals to cushion the economic impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on Nigerians during lockdown.

Suspected hoodlums on Monday looted a warehouse in Gwagwalada area of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT.

Gunmen Kill Custom Officer, Injure Another In Jigawa
Unknown gunmen have killed a custom officer and injured one other while on patrol at Kyarama village in Ringim Local Government Area of Jigawa State.
