Man who sealed wife’s private part with glue has been arrested
The 30-year-old man who sealed his wife’s private part with super glue has been arrested, days after security operatives launched a manhunt for him.
Kifo Muriuki had accused his wife of infidelity before luring her to Kathita River, where he threatened to kill her if she refuses to abide by his orders.
He then proceeded to add pepper, salt and onions in his wife’s private part using a sharp knife, before applying superglue mixed with sand to ‘seal’ it off. READ MORE>>>
Four more COVID19 deaths recorded in Lagos
Lagos state has recorded four more COVID19 deaths. This was disclosed via the state’s Ministry of Health’s Twitter handle this afternoon. This brings to 42 the number of COVID19 related deaths recorded in the state.
”199 new cases of #COVID19 Infection confirmed.
Total confirmed cases in Lagos as at 20th of May is 2,970.
17 #COVID19Lagos patients; 6 females & 11 males were discharged. Total Discharged now 649.
4 COVID19 deaths were recorded. This brings the number of #COVID19 related death in Lagos to 42.” the tweet read.
Eid-el-Fitri: FG declares Monday, Tuesday public holidays
The Federal Government has declared Monday and Tuesday – May 25 and 26, 2020 – as public holidays to mark Eid-el-Fitri celebration.
The Minister of Interior, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, made the announcement on behalf of the Federal Government.

Popular Nollywood Actress Confirmed Dead
Popular Nollywood actress, Emilia Dike has been confirmed dead. It was gathered that the actress slumped and died on Wednesday in Enugu State.
This newspaper reports that Movie Director, Okechukwu Oku, made this known on his Instagram page.
He wrote, “Why is death taking the best people???? I’m confused oooo. Just filmed with Mama here on my 2 last projects, excited to release it and this horrible news today. A woman with a heart of gold, Aah noooo. Will miss you Mrs Dike. Nollywood has lost a gem in you. This is messed up.”
