13 Almajirai test positive for COVID-19 in Jigawa
Thirty-one of the people that tested positive for coronavirus in Jigawa State are almajirai (street children) sent back to the state from Kano State, an official has said.
Apart from the 23 cases, we also got 28 almajirai that tested positive and out of 23 announced by the NCDC, three are almajirai. So, out of a total of 51 cases, 31 are almajirai. Before now we had 118 cases Plus the 51, that is a total of 169 cases.

Nigeria has recorded 288 new cases of Coronavirus across various states of the country.
NCDC stated that Lagos State recorded 179 cases, Kano State had twenty cases, Katsina and Jigawa State recorded fifteen cases each, Borno State had thirteen cases, Ogun State recorded eleven cases and the Federal Capital Territory recorded seven cases.

A 20-year-old woman, Abiola Komolafe, has narrated how her one-month-old son was sold to a child trafficking syndicate by her aunt, shortly after she was delivered of the child in Onitsha, Anambra State.
Komolafe was paraded alongside 182 suspects by the Delta State Police Command in Asaba, for crimes ranging from terrorism, robbery, kidnap, murder, cultism and child trafficking.
Ekiti twin girl found dead in co-tenant’s vehicle
A seven-year-old girl, Morire Olagoke, was on Thursday night allegedly found dead inside a co-tenant’s vehicle at the Olujoda area of Ado-Ekiti, the Ekiti State capital.
The girl’s mother, Kehinde Ajayi, who said the family searched for her daughter in the afternoon of that day, declared her missing, following which a search party helped to comb the neighbourhood for her.
