The South-East chairman of Miyetti Allah, Alhaji Gidado Siddiki has hailed the initiative of the Anambra State Government government to register Fulani herdsmen.
Igwe Peter Eze-Amama the Chairman of Anambra State Cattle Menace Control Committee, speaking to newsmen, said the registration point was situated at Amansea in Awka North Local Government Area.
According to Eze-Amama, the enumeration process will be useful in providing easy identification whenever a crisis arises.
He said, “The enumeration will assist the cattle menace control committee to fish out the bad eggs from the Fulani herdsmen in Anambra state.”
The South-East chairman of Miyetti Allah has urged herdsmen to abide by the rules of their host communities. He also said that any erring individual will be punished accordingly.
