Popular Clergyman, Primate Elijah Ayodele, the founder of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church in Ejigbo, Lagos, has said that the 2023 presidency is not for the Igbo.
Primate Ayodele said this in a recent chat with Legit.ng. He revealed that the Igbo would continue to play second fiddle to the North Central and the South West.
“Between themselves, it’s not for the Igbo. I’ll let you know the tribe that will come back. But the north will not relinquish power. They will still battle for it. And that is why I said democracy will beak Nigeria,” he said.
When he was requested to elaborate on his stance regarding the Igbo 2023 presidency, Ayodele had this to say: “The Igbo are wasting their time. They’ll canvass for them but they won’t get it. The North Central and South West will be a problem for Igbo.”
The religious cleric sounded a warning that Bola Tinubu, the leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) should be careful for fear that he may “crumble on the way”.
Also, he said, “This is the word of God. It is not my word. I’m not a politician. It is only a politician that would say this is what he thinks.”
Primate Ayodele speaking on the RevolutionNow protests said that the time was not yet right for a revolution in the country. He, however, said that an uprising will happen in the nearest future. He also said Sowore will not be the person to lead a successful revolution while saying that Nnamdi Kanu will not be the person to achieve Biafra.
He further sounded a warning to Godwin Obaseki, the Edo State Governor telling him not to leave the APC if he didn’t want to be “finished politically.”
On the Kogi State Governorship Election, Ayodele said the PDP should stick with Senator Dino Melaye to stand any chance of winning the Kogi State Governorship Election in November.
