Some of the supporters of President Muhammadu Buhari have condemned the protest tagged “#RevolutionNow” as an avenue for the organisers to get the government’s attention and enrich themselves.
The protest is scheduled to start on Monday, August 5, 2019, in more than 20 state capitals across Nigeria. In the last 24 hours, the movement gained momentum on Facebook, Twitter and other social media platforms.
You are not fighting for anyone but your pocket! I hope your family and children are part of the revolution?

The protest is spearheaded by Omoyele Sowore, the founder of Sahara Reporters and the presidential candidate of the African Action Congress (AAC) in the 2019 poll. He lost the election.
Some members of the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) described members of the group as aggrieved opposition members.
Abeg! abeg!! abeg!!! Na the poor followers of this Sowore I go beg. If you never chop belleful, no go stay front o, Soldiers no no Odieshi oo. This man na Yankee e dey stay o. If you die, Saturday no go turn Sunday o.

Human rights activists Deji Adeyanju, Senator Shehu Sani are some of the members of the group.
WHAT YOU LOST IN TERMS OF VOTES IN 2019 ELECTIONS CANNOT BE ACHIEVED ON THE STREETS. THOSE WHO VOTED FOR PRESIDENT BUHARI ARE THE OWNERS OF THE STREETS. (If you doubt this ask NLC)

Reacting to the #RevolutionNow protest a Twitter user Eli said, “You are not fighting for anyone but your pocket! I hope your family and children are part of the revolution?”
Another Twitter user called for the arrest Sowore, saying he is notorious for instigating violence.
“FG needs to arrest you first and seize your Green-card so you don’t do a runner after you get people killed or injured with your violence incitement. “Rage & Revolution is equal to a Coup, but this FG is too weak for my liking, you couldn’t try this with PDP govt.@NGRPresident”

Ufedo Yunisa said, “How can a man rejected by the electorate and his party thinking of a revolution, it was a people’s revolution that rejected your frustrated ass in February election.”

The critics of the #RevolutionNow and its organiser are believed to be Buharists. They were reacting to a tweet by the Sahara Reporters founder that he was under surveillance by Nigeria’s security operatives ahead of the protest.
Which surveillance? I am sure the security operatives know better to completely ignore ¬ give attention to inconsequential group seeking open confrontation thinking to be helped into becoming a larger pity-party.PMB govt isn’t entirely dumb, mate. They’ve been very tactical

“A friend just told me that I am under “heavy surveillance” from our security agencies” but I have responded by stating that we moved from surveillance on the people to ‘sovereignty of the people’ just get used to it #RevolutionNow #DaysofRage is here # August 5”
#RevolutionNow didn't happen for over 200 Chibok girls kidnapped, maimed and raped.
It didn't happen when BokoHaram were killing in major cities
It didn't happen when PDP administration spent millions on electricity without result,
