As Liberia’s president George Weah honoured his Nigerian counterpart President Muhammadu Buhari with the highest honour in that country, some Nigerians said they are unperturbed by the honour.
One of them who reacted on Facebook, Lovth Essien, said, “Make him your president, we are tired of him here.”
The former footballer turned politician decorated Buhari with the Grand Cordon of the Knighthood of Venerable Order of the Pioneers.
Another user who called the attention of Nigerians to the number of people that attended the event said, “It wasn’t anything important, there was no one in the stadium to even witness the joke. So I will advise everyone to ignore this and consider it a media joke,” Felix Asuquo said.
The president of the African Development Bank, Akinwunmi Adesina tweeted, “President Buhari was just decorated with the highest national distinction of Liberia. Was delighted to be there. Congratulations Mr. President!”

The clip tells the story…empty stadium. This ex footballer is most likely running same type of govt like APC is doing in Nigeria.

Another reason to proof non of the President's media aide deserve their jobs. Mr Adesina is quick to reporting an event their master was attending than they are. #smh
I hope a competent Minister of Information is appointed.

You think you’re so funny. I would but the Fulani herdsmen bandits your President cannot curb is killing them slowly in the farms, from the Nimbo massacre to the very recent one. My folks in the village are too busy trying to stay alive.
