PDP, Atiku To Play Videos Allegedly Showing APC Rigging Presidential Polls At Presidential Tribunal

According to reports from Legit.ng, the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, and Alh. Atiku Abubakar, its Presidential Candidate in the 2019 general elections have concluded plans to play videos of alleged rigging during the February 23 Presidential election at the Presidential Election Tribunal on Friday, 12th July 2019.

Daily Trust reports that a senior counsel in the team of Atiku said, the videos will show how the polls were rigged by the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Meanwhile, Legit.ng have as well reported that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Atiku are being expected to present their star witnesses, as they wind up their case before the tribunal on the outcome of the election next week.

Atiku and the PDP have also called upon nine more local government collation agents to serve as witnesses in the case.

So far, the witnesses have according to reports, based their testimony on the alleged harassment and intimidation of voters, as well as the cancellation of results.

It will be recalled that Legit.ng had made a previous report that Mr Yahaya Shiko, an agent of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) during the 2019 Presidential elections, had made allegations that the results of the elections was tempered with in Kaduna State in order to favour President Buhari and the APC.

Mr Shiko served as PDP’s collation agent in Kaduna South local government area of Kaduna State.

On Thursday, 11th of July, 2019, the agent had admitted to the tribunal that the results were tempered with in his presence.
