According to him, it was unfair to use Nigeria’s resources in favour of a group he claimed had stolen, killed and destroyed in every state of the Federation.

He took to his tweeter handle to share his view on Wednesday evening while asking Nigerians to join him in saying “Herdsmen Won’t Get Nigerian Land”

“There is no state in Nigeria were herdsmen have not STOLEN, KILLED and DESTROYED, yet General @MBuhari wants to give herdsmen so-called Ruga Farmlands all over Nigeria? Not with OUR MONEY. Not with OUR LAND. Not in OUR NIGERIA. Please join me to say #HerdsmenWontGetNigerianLand” Omokri tweeted.

He went further to advise the federal government to channel the resources into lifting the very millions of Nigerians in extreme poverty, rather than empowering herdsmen to do more harm to Nigerians.

“Nigeria has 87 million extremely poor people, making us the world headquarters for extreme poverty. Let Buhari use the MONEY, LAND & RESOURCES he ILLEGALLY planned to give herdsmen to those 87 million extremely poor Nigerians Please join me to say #HerdsmenWontGetNigerianLand” Tweeted Omokri.

This is coming after The Punch reported that Some youths in the Ofumwengbe community in the Ovia North-East Local Government Area of Edo State, on Tuesday, blocked the Benin-Ore Expressway to protest the death of a yet-to-be-identified woman, who was allegedly raped and killed by suspected Fulani herdsmen.

It was gathered that the victim, who had gone to her farm on Monday, failed to return, prompting the community to raise a search party for her.

It was yet to be established whether she was killed by herdsmen, but the woman’s corpse was said to have been found on her farm with one of her arms and legs allegedly cut off by her assailants, prompting the youth to point in the herdsmen’s direction.
