The Ekiti state governor, Kayode Fayemi has allegedly sacked 2,000 Workers in the state. The workers, as indicated by the report, are those utilized by the immediate past governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose.
Meanwhile, Fayose in a response through his spokesperson has said the move by Fayemi has written his name in the historical backdrop of the state as an individual that conveyed damage to the people lives.
Lere Olayinka, the spokesperson to Fayose in an announcement on Wednesday, portrayed the activity of the governor as mischievous and political vandetta elevated to its pinnacle.
He said that Fayemi has just shown the wickedness in his heart by sacking Ekiti sons and daughters who were appropriately employed by the state government.
He added that It will be on record that the PDP administration of Ayodele Fayose offered employments to more than 2,000 jobless youths in Ekiti while the APC govt of Kayode Fayemi sacked them, Olayinka said. He likewise said whoever commends the show of evil will be reminded in the future when activities to remember Fayemi will likewise be reviewed.
He added that for with respect to those children and little girls of Ekiti who have now progressed toward becoming victims of Fayemi’s vandetta and political grudge, they should put their expectation in God and authorize their rights to look for justice in the courtroom,” he said.
Also, it was recently announced that Fayemi had on Thursday, January 24, said that his predecessor left a total debt free profile of over N155.79 billion for the state.
This is as the governor signed into law, the N129.9 billion state spending plan for 2019, as a major aspect of occasions, to check his 100 days in office. While giving a record of his stewardship in Ado Ekiti, Fayemi said that the debt profile included local loans and other debts.
