Rivers State Government has declared the youth leader of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Eleme Local Government Area, Mr Princewill Osaroejiji wanted for various criminal activities.
This was contained in a statement issued in Port Harcourt by Paulinus Nsirim, the state Commissioner for Information and Communications.
The statement said that a N5 Million Naira reward would be given to anyone who provides reliable information that would lead to Osaroejiji’s arrest. READ MORE
Buhari Abiola arrested for rape in Ogun (photo)
29 year old man, Buhari Abiola aka Eyinju, pictured above, was on May 7, 2020, arrested by men of Ogun State Police Command for forcefully having carnal knowledge of a 21 year old girl (name withheld).
A statement released by the state police command spokesperson, Abimbola Oyeyemi, says the arrest of the suspect followed a report from the victim who made a complaint at Adigbe divisional headquarters that while she was selling fried potatoes and beancake at church street area of Ojere, the suspect came to buy the fried potatoes and asked her to come and collect money in his house which isn’t far from her shop. Former Minister of Health, Dr. Haliru Alhassan is dead
Former Minister of Health, Dr. Haliru Alhassan is dead at the age of 66. The late Minister said to be the childhood friend of Sultan of Sokoto Muhammad Sa’ad Abubakar, was diabetic before his death.
Daily Trust reported that Alhassan who served as the Minister of Health under the administration of Ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, died around 12 noon on Sunday May 10.
Before his death, he was serving as the Chairman of Governing Board of Health Services Management Board in Sokoto state.
Truck crushes vehicle in Lagos, injures five
An articulated truck on Friday reportedly crushed a vehicle around the Ifako-Ogudu area of Lagos State, leaving five occupants injured.
The truck, said to be loaded with an undisclosed item, collided with a Toyota Sienna vehicle on top speed.
Public Relations Officer, Lagos State Emergency Management Agency, Nosa Okunbor, said the injured persons were given first aid treatment by personnel of the Lagos State Ambulance Service before they were whisked to a nearby hospital. READ MORE
Buhari has failed woefully, Jonathan govt a disaster – Shehu Sani
Shehu Sani, a former Kaduna Central Senator, on Sunday said the President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration has failed Nigerians woefully.
Sani lamented that indices on ground point to the fact that Buhari and the ruling class may have failed because they underestimated the problems facing the country while at the same time making impossible promises.
