Many Living Faith Members leaped out for joy after they were allocated quarters from the Winners housing scheme in Canaancity. Alot of the worshippers have taken to social media handle to showcase their houses and express gratitude to the General Overseer of the Living Faith Church for providing cheap housing scheme.
According to nairaland reportage, The church(Winners Chapel) also gave out maintenance contract to church members who are competent enough to handle building supplies and maintenance.
The huge complex of colourful homes and first-rate amenities is said to comprise up to 15 000 residences, ranging from a single bedroom apartment to multi-bedroom mansions.
The best part of the humongous superstate dubbed Canaan City Estate is its self-sustaining model. In a move comparable to the famed Eko Atlantic project,
It will have its own markets, parks and gardens, sports centres, pipe-borne water system, police department, fire and medical services, and power generation.
The Estate as like all of Canaan land is powered by the 15MW gas turbine which ensures that the entire community is without the noise of generator sounds.
The Estate which is very close to Canaancity is a preamble of what’s to come in the Church’ own estate where thousands of houses are being built for members.
The Estate also has its own heliport for quick travel or for conveyance to the airport.Religious leaders in Nigeria are always known for always spreading their wings and investing in the buying and building of magnificent buildings.
David Oyedepo, the bishop of Living Faith Church, is one of the pastors known for diversifying his resources.
The big Living Faith auditorium and Covenant University are two outstanding establishments that are in the name of the bishop.
Apart from these two well known structures, it has been rumoured that Bishop Oyedepo has yet another establishment that is ground-breaking. This structure is deemed to be a gigantic residential area called Mandate Estate.
