VIDEO: Nigerian Striker’s Brace Earns Club Valuable Point At Real Madrid

Nigerian striker, Dennis Bonaventure scored two priceless goals against Real Madrid for his Belgian club-side, Clubb Brugge in a UEFA Champions League group game at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Dennis managed to direct towards goal a cross from south African winger, Percy Tau despite almost losing control of the ball to side step Thibaut Courtois for the first goal.

Emmanuel Dennis’ goal for Club Brugge is the earliest they have ever scored in a Champions League game (8 minutes, 9 seconds). He is the third Nigerian to score against Real Madrid in the competition, after James Obiorah and Ayila Yussuf of Dynamo Kiev.

The Super Eagles striker then again disposed Luka Modric in the midfield to be clear on goal before lifting the ball over Courtois for the second goal in the first half.

Sergio Ramos pulled goal back after half-time with a header that initially looked offside but VAR checked confirmed that he was narrowly onside.

The goal sparked a revival for Real Madrid as Club Brugge crumbled, struggling to keep possession in the match, which eventually led to the equalizer.

Club Brugge was reduced to 10 men after Ruud Vormer slides in on Vinicios Junior, But he does catch the Madrid forward on the ankle and as he has already been booked he simply has to go.

Toni Kroos floats a free-kick into the box where Casemiro meets the ball with a looping header that beats a helpless Mignolet to put scores at 2-2.
