Several women had Justified this statement in different industries, women with not just beauty but thinking caps, seemingly acting irregular like a typical average woman are becoming rampant in this age in different climes. Stephanie Frappart, 35 a First Female French referee in French Ligue is about to do same because she has made history, she will be the referee between Amiens and Strasbourg in France’s Ligue 2 encounter. Since 2014, this has never happened in French Ligue 2. She will prove her worth to the world since she has been giving the privilege to do so.
Report has it that she will also be the referee at the women’s World Cup, which will be held in France in June and July. Stephanie previously officiated at the 2015 edition of that tournament and took charge of the women’s under-20 World Cup final last year.
The French football federation said the appointment for Sunday’s match followed a request from FIFA to help referees involved in the World Cup “prepare in the best conditions”.
In a recent interview with AFP, Frappart said she would see being appointed to a Ligue 1 game as “an acknowledgement of my competence.”
“I don’t want to be given top billing or put in Ligue 1 just because I am a woman,” she added.
In the same vein, Germany’s Bibiana Steinhaus became the first female referee in one of the top European leagues when she took charge of a Bundesliga match between Hertha Berlin and Werder Bremen in September 2017.
Women are leading and emerging worldwide as a result of competence not because of their sex.
