Paris St. Germain have made a surprise bid to sign Manchester United’s Ander Herrera. The 29 year-old has been unable to agree a new contract at Old Trafford, and with his current deal set to expire in the summer he is free to discuss terms with overseas clubs.

Herrera has been a key member of caretaker boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s team since he assumed control, featuring regularly from the start of matches until a hip injury forced him into a spell on the sidelines.
He returned to the team last week as United went out of the FA Cup with a 2-1 defeat away at Wolves .
The French champions have been in the market for a midfield player for some time, and failed in an effort to lure Everton ’s Idrissa Gueye to the Parc de Princes in January.
Instead, they have turned their attentions to the two-time Spain international Herrera, who has made 19 starts for United in the Premier League this season.
The midfielder missed out when his team won 3-1 in Paris to knock PSG out of the Champions League earlier this month.
