Father Mbaka Under Siege! Fani Kayode Has Done The Most Disastrous Thing Ever

Femi Fani-Kayode, the former Minister of Aviation has condemned the Spiritual Director of the Adoration Ministry, Enugu Nigeria, Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka over his latest prediction on the presidential candidate the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Atiku Abubakar and his running mate, Peter Obi in 2019 election.

Mbaka had during a Sunday thanksgiving service predicted doom’s day for the flag bearers of the PDP, Atiku and Obi.

Mbaka said that “if Atiku continued on the same trajectory, he and his running mate would end in shame.”

Mbaka also berated Atiku’s running mate, Peter Obi for not doing anything for his church, warning him of the consequences of being stingy.

Fr. Mbaka curiously withheld Obi’s blessing and said he would only release it after Obi had done a project for them.

Using Umahi as an example, Mbaka said: “Umahi donated 1,000 bags of rice and 1,000 tubers of yam to us, but it meant nothing to me until he handed N10 million cheque to me and promised to build a project for the ministry. This is the type of gesture we require from Obi.

“You can be promising and doing for them in Anambra. In your capacity and what God has done for you as governor, God hates stinginess. What I am saying is not to please you, but what will save your life. Otherwise you and Atiku will fail.

“Governors of Ebonyi and Enugu made donations without announcing at the altar, your own is taking time, the way you and Atiku are moving will end in shame.”

Reacting, Fani-Kayode condemned the statements by the fiery catholic priest requesting donations from political parties.

The former minister described Mbaka’s actions as disgraceful, urging Catholic Church to call him to order.

Fani Kayode on his Twitter page wrote: “I am disgusted by the words of Father Mbaka. It does not matter to me which candidate he supports but what galls me is his begging for money from both sides in return for favourable prophesies.

“This is disgraceful and his superiors in the Catholic Church should call him to order.”

2019 Election: Is This Another Deceit? Is Buhari Now A Christian?

Former Aviation Minister, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode has hailed President Muhammadu Buhari over his recent essay in the United Kingdom’s “Church Times” Magazine. We are wondering if this is another sham to get through to the Nigerian Christians. This is the first time Buhari  has had a  Christian essay done and we are wondering why it is coming now just when 2019 election is about to begin

In statement on Saturday, FFK described the essay as ‘Touching’. He wrote;

“The essay that was purportedly written by President Muhammadu Buhari in the United Kingdom’s ‘Church Times’ was impressive, encouraging, inspiring, moving and conciliatry.

I was particularly touched by his reference to the great Bishop Samuel Ajayi Crowther and his description of himself as being “a descendant of Abraham”. This is a refreshing approach which brings hope and enhances unity.

Let us pray that he is being sincere and let us hope that he will reflect these beautiful words in his actions.

It is never too late to turn a new leaf.”

Mr Femi Fani-Kayode, was discharged and acquitted on 1 July by a Federal High Court sitting in Lagos on the two count charge of money laundering preferred against him by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC. In his victory press statement Fani-Kayode changed his name from. Oluwafemi Fani-Kayode to Olufemi Olu-Kayode (meaning the Lord brings joy). According to him this was done as a mark of gratitude to God following his acquittal of all the remaining money laundering charges that were brought against him by the efcc. Fani-Kayode had fought the case since 1 July 2008 and he was finally cleared of all the remaining charges that had not been dismissed earlier on 1 July 2015. This was 7 years to the day after his ordeal first started.

Kayode had fought the case since 2008 was accused by the EFCC to have laundered about N100m while he was Minister of Culture and Tourism and subsequently Aviation Minister. The allegedly laundered sum was however reduced to N2.1m on 17 November 2014 after Justice Ofili-Ajumogobia, dismissed 38 out of the 40 counts levelled against Fani-Kayode by the EFCC for want of proof.

Ayodele Fayose, the former Governor of Ekiti State, has made good on his promise to visit the Abuja headquarters of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) today as he arrived there in company of Rivers Governor, Nyesom Wike, Femi Fani Kayode and other chieftains of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Fayose made this known in a live video and on his Twitter account.

Watch the video below:

Fayose arrived EFCC office with Gov. Nyesom Wike, Chief Fani Kayode and other PDP chieftains.

Posted by Ankaurspeaks on Tuesday, 16 October 2018

Former Minister of Aviation, Mr. Femi Fani-Kayode was among the hundreds of Fayose supporters who trooped to the headquarters of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) as a mark solidarity.
Among those who storm EFCC with ex-governors supporters is Deji Adeyanju.
Fayose, whose tenure expired today, is under investigation for allegedly receiving N1.3bn from the Office of the National Security Adviser through the then Minister of State for Defence, Musiliu Obanikiro.
Fayose, had said that he was going to the EFCC office today with his bedclothes, pillowcase, English and Yoruba bibles. The Governor’s immunity ended along with his tenure and he has been invited to the headquarters of the EFCC.
Fayose will be answering to allegations that he received about N1.3bn from the Office of the National Security Adviser, NSA through the then Minister of State for Defence, Senator Musiliu Obanikoro.
Fayose told reporters in Abuja “I will be there on Tuesday. I am not begging for any bail. It is up to them. If they want me, they should just give me a bed. I have done by bed bedclothes, I have done my pillowcase, I have my English and Yoruba bibles. I am prepared for them. Nobody should worry about me. Only cowards die many times before their deaths.”
Fayose earlier accused the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) of coercing witnesses to implicate him, having been unable to establish any case against him.
The governor, in a letter to the EFCC dated October 10, 2018, said specifically that the commission was doing everything possible to induce and or coerce Mr Maroun Azeez Mecheleb to make false statement to implicate me when he appears in your office at noon today (11/10/2018).
Governor Fayose said “a situation where a prospective witness is being induced or coerced to change his earlier statement by the Operatives of the Commission is nothing but persecution.”
The letter with reference number EK/Gov1/28/Vol1/13 read; “I have always been made to know that the statutory functions and powers of your Commission are neither to persecute nor compromise the integrity of your Commission.
“Permit me to stress that, a situation where a prospective witness is being induced or coerced to change his earlier statement by the Operatives of the Commission is nothing but persecution.
Specifically, I know as a fact that your Commission has been doing everything possible to induce and or coerce Mr Maroun Azeez Mecheleb to make false statement to implicate me (when he appears in your office at noon today 11/10/2018) as a foundation for you to concoct trumped up charges against me notwithstanding the fact that the said Mr. Maroun who only returned to Nigeria in the last three weeks had earlier made two statements in Charge No. FRN vs. Abiodun Agbele and Ors. Copies extracted from the earlier proof of evidence are attached for ease of
reference.
“Regardless, I look forward to seeing you on Tuesday, 16th October 2018.”

See the SHOCKING things Fayose is taking to EFCC Office

The outgoing Governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose, whose tenure expired midnight on Monday is talking tough ahead of his anticipated visit to the Abuja office of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission on Tuesday (today).

Fayose whose immunity ends along with his tenure has revealed some of the things he would be taking to the EFCC office.

Fayose has been invited to the headquarters of the EFCC where he will answer to allegations that he received about N1.3bn from the Office of the National Security Adviser through the then Minister of State for Defence, Senator Musiliu Obanikoro.

Fayose said, “I will be there on Tuesday. I am not begging for any bail. It is up to them. If they want me, they should just give me a bed. I have done by bed bedclothes, I have done my pillowcase, I have my English and Yoruba bibles. I am prepared for them. Nobody should worry about me. Only cowards die many times before their deaths.”

Fayose spoke even as a source close to him has said that some governors and lawmakers who are members of the Peoples Democratic Party are expected to accompany him to the EFCC.

Sources close to the Punch correspondent said Fayose, who is the chairman of the PDP Governors Forum, would be accompanied by a team of PDP stalwarts.

The source said, “Fayose will be going to the EFCC with governors and lawmakers. It will be the same way Senate President Bukola Saraki was accompanied by his colleagues when he went to the Code of Conduct Tribunal. We will be there to give him all the encouragement he needs.

Also speaking at a farewell dinner hosted in honour of Fayose, a former minister of aviation, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode, said he and others would escort Fayose to the EFCC.

He said when he was also in the custody of the commission in 2016, the governor visited him and gave him encouragement.

Fani-Kayode added, “When I was in the EFCC detention for 60 days and then another 30 days, he came to see me. They were shaking that a sitting governor could come to the EFCC and they came to bring me to see him from one of the underground cells and all he was saying was, ‘Know that God is with you, God is alive.’

“As you stood by us when we went through challenges, so shall we stand by you from October 16 when we go to the EFCC to go and see them. Nothing can overcome you because God is with you.”

While delivering his farewell speech, Fayose said he would be at the EFCC by 1pm, adding that he would be going with his pillowcase, bedclothes and other effects.

He added, “I will be there on Tuesday. I am not begging for any bail. It is up to them. If they want me, they should just give me a bed. I have my English and Yoruba bibles. I am prepared for them. Nobody should worry about me. Only cowards die many times before their deaths.”

The governor said his persecution would be short-lived, adding that the PDP would return to power in the next presidential election.

OSUN RERUN: Oshiomhole Offered Omisore N480m To Support APC In Osun, Fani-Kayode Alleges

Former Aviation Minister, Femi Fani-Kayode has lampooned the All Progressives Congress (APC) national chairman, Adams Oshiomhole, for alleged hypocrisy.

This was as he claimed that Oshiomhole offered the Osun State governorship candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), Iyiola Omisore, N480 million and a senatorial ticket in order to woo his support for the APC ahead of the run-off election in Osun State on Thursday, few days after he (Oshiomhole) allegedly called Omisore a murderer.

He then warned Omisore to “remember that dining with the devil is a risky business” and the biblical statement that questions what a man stands to gain if he gains the world and lose his soul.

The former minister made the claim on a post on his Twitter handle on Wednesday.

The PDP chieftain was responding to the visits of some APC chieftains to Omisore to seek his support for the party in the rerun election on Thursday in Osun State.

He wrote, “On Saturday Adams Oshiomhole called Iyiola Omisore a murderer and by Wednesday he offered him 480 million and the APC senatorial ticket. I trust that Iyiola will remember that dining with the devil is a risky business: the bible says what profiteth a man to gain the world and lose his soul.”

“Comparing Jonathan to Buhari is like comparing God to Lucifer” – Femi Fani-Kayode

Nigeria’s Former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode, on Monday said in a tweet on Monday that comparisons between former President, Goodluck Jonathan and current President, Muhammad Buhari was like comparing God to Lucifer.

He also said the only good thing about the Buhari government was the First Lady of the country, Aisha Buhari.

Fani-Kayode has been open in his criticism of the Buhari-led government and has taken to Twitter many times to air out his misgivings.

Fani-Kayode earlier reacted to the Economic and Financial Crime Commission, EFCC’s, call to place outgoing Ekiti State governor, Ayodele Fayose, on the Nigeria Customs Service watch list. He said, “I have never seen such pettiness in my entire life. As a sitting Governor, Ayo Fayose has full immunity and can travel to any country that he pleases until his tenure lapses. The Buhari administration is utterly shameless. No man is God and their time will soon be over.”

The EFCC earlier asked the NCS to watch out for Fayose in case he makes any attempt to flee the country. The notice was in a memorandum to the Comptroller General of the NCS, retired Colonel Hameed Ali, by Ibrahim Magu, the acting Chairman of the EFCC.

The memorandum entitled: “Request for watch-listing of persons, case of conspiracy, abuse of office, official corruption, theft and money laundering,” was dated September 12, 2018. In the said memo which also gave Fayose’s international passport number as A05804492, Magu said, “The under listed suspect is under investigation in connection with the above mentioned offences and there is reasonable suspicion suggesting that he may likely leave the country either through the land borders, Airports or Seaports in order to evade investigation. Hence, you are kindly requested to watch-list and arrest him.” Acting on the memo, Ali, in return, wrote to his top lieutenants, on the need to be on the lookout for Fayose.
