WOW!! Charly Boy Goes Ahead With Threat, Divorces Wife, Marries New Bride Today [Photos]

Entertainer and activist Charles Oputa popularly known as Charly Boy will walk his longtime partner Lady Diane down the aisle today in Abuja for formal exchange of marital vows.

The wedding will take place at the chapel of the Sisters of Jesus the Redeemer Catholic Church in Gwarimpa Estate where he resides. The ceremony will be officiated by the outspoken Catholic clergy Bishop Matthew Kukah. The wedding will have in attendance family members and close associates of the couple.

According to him, he hopes to convince his wife to ride with him in a tricycle to and from the church to underscore the low-key nature of the ceremony. Charly Boy was first married to Stella at a Catholic Church in Onitsha in 1974. The relationship produced one child. “We have been following through with the process of annulment for some time. My former wife who has since remarried cooperated very well,” he said.

The 62-year-old added that his first marriage failed because he was underage when his mother got him a wife. Incidentally, the Area Father’s 101-year-old mother is once again the reason he is contracting a formal marriage to Lady Diane who has three children for him. “People wonder how I am able to live with one woman all these years. It is not that we do not have misunderstanding. Marriage is successful when you are able to manage your incompatibility. I saw my parents quarrel, reconcile, kiss and hold hands again. These are the values that have guided me my relationship,“ he said.

The 38-year-old had on Friday released first pictures of her son Jayce three months after he was born in a US hospital in September. Her explanation did not impress many Nigerians who accused her of desperation to have a child out of wedlock despite preaching abstinence and women empowerment. Unmoved the former beauty queen published more pictures of her and the boy, declaring he is her king for now. Linda became the butt of jokes on Friday over revelation that she drove hours from her Banana Island luxury home to have sex with Jeremi whom she claimed lived in a three-bedroom apartment.

She also disclosed that she kept going back to him when it was obvious the relationship was not working because she could not find someone else. Three months into her pregnancy, the former model said her baby’s father met her parents and things looked good. She then accused her of not following through with a proposed traditional wedding, saying “he began to treat me with so much hate and aggression that I and my family had to cut him off completely.”

OMG!! Cheating Husband Batters Wife Horrifically After She Confronts Him Over Infidelity

A woman based in Port Harcourt Rivers State Chindima Diala has been badly injured on the head by her husband for accusing him of infidelity. It was learnt that the incident happened on November 29 when Mrs Diala accused her husband Norbert of engaging in extramarital affairs.

Trouble started that evening after Norbert arrived home late and his wife alleged that he was returning from his girlfriend’s place. Norbert was said to have taken offence and descended on his wife with a plank, slashing her head in the process. Diala told City Round that her 11 years of marriage with Norbert was characterised with violence, adding that their daughter pleaded with Norbert in vain to stop beating her mother.

“While I was on the road that day, I saw him coming out of his mistress’ house and I was very angry. When I got home, I locked up my room and slept off. All of a sudden, he broke the door. I was shocked. He started beating me. My daughter and housekeeper were begging him. He pushed my daughter and hit my head with a plank. I was covered with blood and managed to escape. This was not the first time this would happen. There was a time he hit me and I fainted. It happens over and over again,” Diala said.

The 39–year-old woman explained that she had been enduring the assaults because she did not want to be a single mother and be solely responsible for the upkeep of their three children aged between five and 10. She said whenever she mentioned the name of any of her husband’s girlfriends, he would get angry and beat her up, adding that she was tired of the abusive marriage.

“I have told Norbert to leave me just to be alive and train my children, but he doesn’t want to leave me. Anytime I mention the name of any of his girlfriends, I always receive the beating of my life. Some years back when we were in the bedroom, one of his mistresses named Rachael called him. I felt very insulted and I confronted him. The next thing, Rachael called to warn me that I could never put an end to her relationship with my husband. When I confronted my husband with what she said, he gave me the beating of my life. Anytime I refused him sex, he would rape me. There was a time I was not feeling fine, he tore my clothes and beat me. He pushed me out naked; it was my child who covered me with bedspread. We have been married for 11 years; it has been years of suffering and smiling. I have been enduring it. He used to pacify me with gifts in the past after beating me. I lost my second pregnancy due to beating,” Diala said.

The mother of three said she reported the latest incident at the police station on Oboro Road Port Harcourt and her statement was taken. “The police gave me a report which I took to the hospital. He has been on the run since the incident happened,” Diala added. It was reported that the husband hung up when he was contacted on the phone and had not replied a text message as at press time. Rivers State Police spokesperson Omoni Nnamdi could not be reached for comment.

According to reports, Mohammed was arrested alongside three others from their base in Enugu State. Their arrest is sequel to the purported plan for the gang to kidnap one an Abuja-based businessman, Alhaji Ulere.

Those arrested along with Sani are: Babangida Garba, Dogo Ibrahim, and Ibrahim Haruna. Sani told the police interrogators that their plans were to make at least N500 million from ransom, this December. Sani, who the police described as one of the dangerous armed robbery suspects and kidnappers, admitted abducting a lot of affluent people in the past. In fact, the suspect said, he has lost count of the number of operations he has embarked on since he joined the gang in 2016.

He narrated: “I’m from Zamfara State, and I was formerly into cattle-rearing. I came to Abuja in 2007 in search for greener pastures. While in Abuja, I started working for one Alhaji Ulere. I left him and went to join a friend in Enugu State after my boss refused to pay me my money. While I was in Enugu I discovered that my friend already had an armed robbery gang and they were into kidnapping. I joined them.” Sani said at first they started robbing travellers on the Enugu Port Harcourt expressway. Normally we block the expressway with heavy logs in the dead of the night, forcing vehicles to stop. We would rob all the occupants of their cash and valuables. We take the rich ones among them hostage in a forest in Enugu. They will be released only when their relatives pay ransom. I can’t count the numbers of robberies I have taken part in, but the one that got me into trouble was the kidnapping of my former boss, who sells cows in Abuja.”

MONSTER MOM!! See Evil Woman Who Drowned Her Own Daughter And Burned Her Body

In what will come across as a really shocking development, a woman has been said to have drowned her own daughter and burned her body.

A mum is accused of deliberately drowning her daughter in the bath at home before setting fire to her garden, a court heard.

Carly Ann Harris, 38, allegedly told cops who found the four-year-old’s charred body on a coffee table “angels told me to do it”. Little Amelia Brooke Harris died at the family home in Trealaw, Tonypandy on June 8. The jury was told neighbour Megan Griffiths heard a raised voice saying “mummy, mummy, mummy” that day. She and her partner then heard screaming outside and found Harris standing in the front garden. She allegedly told them: “God will be with her. The angels have taken her.”
Opening the case for the Crown, Michael Jones QC, prosecuting, told the jury: “This defendant, Carly Ann Harris, killed her four-year-old daughter Amelia by placing her in a bath of water and deliberately drowning her at their home address. The defendant then took Amelia’s dead body out of the bath, covered her with a sheet, carried her downstairs and placed her body on a coffee table that was situated in the back garden, and then set fire to Amelia’s body.”
After Harris was taken to the police station she allegedly said: “I deserve to die. What the f***? My little girl. The angels said it must be done.” The court heard she also said: “I’m a monster.” She told police she had been having “visions of angels” and was required to “sacrifice her daughter in order to prove my faith”. The court heard Harris described herself as a “a fallen angel and had to prove her strength” and that Amelia would have to be “cold-washed and burned”. Amelia’s body had been “taken out of the bath, wrapped in toilet paper and carried outside covered in a sheet”. She said she had taken amphetamine to make her “more aware” and “opened her third eye”. Amelia was wearing a flowery jumpsuit and eating sweets when her mother told her: “You’re going to see the angels. See you in heaven.”
One juror was excused ten minutes into the trial because she could not bear to hear the gruesome details of how Amelia died. Mr Jones told jurors Harris had been shopping with pal Nicky Jones and Amelia earlier that day. She said Harris “appeared to be the happiest” she had seen her for some time. Miss Jones called Harris around 7.30pm to ask if Amelia wanted to go to a play centre the following day, to which Harris replied: “We can’t tomorrow because I haven’t got Amelia. “She’s gone to heaven. She’s safe now.” Harris then told her friend: “I’m only messing.”
The court heard how a family member said she had “not been well” for some six weeks before the incident. Mr Jones said the family member described how Harris had been suffering from anxiety and believed she and their family were being stalked. Mr Jones said: “He described how she had suffered with anxiety.” Mr Jones told the jury: “Although this is obviously a harrowing and tragic case, it is important you put any emotions aside as you listen to this case. There is no dispute as to what Harris did that day. The evidence that you hear is not in dispute. You will hear psychiatric evidence to the profound and overwhelming mental health issues that affect and continue to affect Harris.”
Harris denied murder and manslaughter at Newport Crown Court. The judge told the the jury they must decide if she is not guilty of murder by reason of insanity or guilty of manslaughter by reason of diminished responsibility. Harris, of Tonypandy, Rhondda, sobbed during the opening of the trial and had to be given a glass of water. The trial continues.

“I Can’t Sleep Well At Night Because Of My Special Effects” – Nollywood SFX Creator, Hakeem Effect, Cries Out

Hakeem Effect, the popular make-up artist in Nollywood, has disclosed that his special effects scare him at night. The make-up artist who disclosed that he didn’t have to go through any formal training to acquire it, but learnt the art via divine inspiration through a series of dreams, told reporters:

“Sometimes, after I have built a body prosthetic, and I wake up in the middle of the night to do something, I usually forget I was the one that built the body, so I get scared a little bit. When such occurrences take place, I just calm myself down. Interestingly, my children are already used to my works, so even sometimes, when they see a real incident similar to some of my effects, they call my attention to it. I always tell them that every scary thing they see on the road is not a special effect. Nothing can scare my children; they are used to seeing blood and horrible things because I create some of my effects at home.

“The only thing I can say that scares me is death. I usually think that all these struggles to survive, just to take care of my family and all the knowledge acquired and fame, at the end of it all, we are all going to die one day. However, it is better to work towards your destiny even if death is going to come at the end of the day than staying idle doing nothing.”

According to Hakeem Effect, his most challenging and memorable effect was when he had to transform people to look like Nelson Mandela and President Muhammadu Buhari. “When I was a child, I had it in mind that I would be a great actor; I never knew I would go into special effects at all. I ventured into the movie industry 12 years ago and I started as an actor. But I can’t act again; I can only go into movie production. However, man proposes, but God disposes. Interestingly, I learnt this art in dreams; I didn’t have any form of training to acquire this skill. I started improving the skill as time went on. I was 28 years old when I used to have the dreams; I always tell people that they shouldn’t try to compete with anyone in life.

“I used to paint as a child, my parents are very proud of me. I am the only one (out of my parents’ children) that didn’t have the opportunity to attend a university, but despite that, everything still turned out well. Every job has its own challenges; most of my jobs that impress people are the jobs I have experimented with on my own before using them for movies. I experiment a lot. My most memorable effect would be transforming some people into President Muhammadu Buhari and Nelson Mandela. I’ll never forget these works because it is not easy to replicate someone,” he said.

Mohammed who masterminded the kidnap of his ex-boss for accusing him of stealing, had worked for Alhaji Ulere till he made the allegation against him in 2016.  Punch reported that one of the suspects had pretended to be a customer and called Ulere on the telephone, asking the businessman to meet him along the road to his shop in Luge.

However while on his way to the agreed location, other gang members reportedly ambushed him and took him to their camp in the City Gate area. However after they demanded that the family of the kidnap victim should pay N1m ransom within 48 hours or lose him, the incident was reported to the Inspector General of Police Intelligence Response Team led by DCP Abba Kyari who asked the family to play along with the gang.

According to a police source, Dogo, came out of the camp to collect the ransom from Ulere’s relative unknown to him that detectives were monitoring his movement. The source said, “The kidnappers believed that the ransom they demanded was ready and one of them, Dogo, went to receive the ransom around City Gate area of Abuja. He was arrested. He led the operatives to the camp where the victim was held hostage. Dogo’s gang members got wind of the police invasion of the camp and fled. They were traced to their base in Enugu State, apprehended and their guns were recovered. They confessed to have carried out several armed robberies and a series of kidnappings at various locations on the Enugu-Port Harcourt Expressway. One AK-47 rifle and three locally made guns were recovered from them. Mohammed confessed that he led his gang to kidnap his former boss because the man accused him of stealing one of his cows. They threatened to kill the businessman if his relatives did not pay the N1m ransom within 48 hours.”

Mohammed, a native of Zamfara State who recounted the chain of events that led to his criminal escapades and how he became a member of the gang, explained that he joined the ring two years ago. He said, “I was rearing cattle, which was my father’s business. I have no formal education. I came to Abuja in 2007 and started working for Alhaji Ulere. Our relationship went sour in 2016 when he accused me of stealing a cow. I left him and travelled to Enugu State to meet my friend, Babangida, who was also rearing cattle. On getting there, I discovered that he already had a gang that was into armed robbery and kidnapping. I joined him and we started robbing motorists travelling on the Enugu Port-Harcourt Expressway. We normally blocked the expressway with heavy wood at night.

“We would force the vehicles to stop and rob the occupants of their cash and other valuables. We kidnapped victims that appeared rich and took them into the bush. We released them after collecting ransoms from their relatives. In November, I told Babangida that my former boss wrongly accused me of stealing and I suggested that we should kidnap him. Babangida agreed and he called other gang members to inform them. We went to Abuja and contacted Alhaji on the phone. As he came out, we kidnapped him and kept him in a bush in Abuja. We demanded a ransom of N1m from his family.  We didn’t know that they would inform the police. We were waiting for Dogo to bring the money when we got information that the police were coming after us. We fled to Enugu where we were later arrested.”

However Haruna, who said he got the highest share of the crime proceeds because the AK-47 used by the gang belonged to him, regretted to have participated in Ulere’s kidnap, adding that Babangida invited him for the operation.
