Superstar singer Davido has called on his fans to keep him in their prayers. In a tweet on Thursday, the singer told his fans that he might have just recorded “the biggest feature” of his career.He wrote:Keep me in your prayers I might have just recorded the Biggest feature of my career that can literally change my life and also I Finally got a release date for ‘NWA BABY’ … clear your playlist !! Daddy coming !!

David Adeleke popularly known as Davido is a Nigerian pop superstar born on November 21, 1992 in Atlanta, Georgia to Chief Deji and Vero Adeleke.He attended British International School, Lekki. He dropped out of Oakwood University in Alabama to pursue a career in music. In 2015 he graduated Babcock University in Ogun state with a degree in Music.After relocating back to Nigeria, Davido dropped his debut single ‘Back When’ featuring popular Nigeria rapper Naeto C in 2011 on the imprint HKN Music spearheaded by his brother.

He gained a little buzz with the song. His next single ‘Dami Duro’ released within the same year and co-produced by Shizzi was a smash hit that would open the doors for Davido. Riding on his momentum Davido went ahead to release three more singles ‘Ekuro’, ‘Overseas’ and ‘All of You’. On July 17, 2012 Davido released his highly anticipated album ‘Omo Baba Olowo: The Genesis’. Other singles released from the debut project were ‘Gbon Gbon’, and ‘Feel Alright’ featuring Ice Prince.

Early 2013 Davido began work on his sophomore album ‘The Baddest’. So far he has released nine singles from the yet-to-be released album. The singles are ‘Gobe’, ‘One of a Kind’, ‘Skelewu’, ‘Aye’, ‘Tchelete’ featuring Mafikizolo, ‘Fans Mi’ featuring Meek Mill, ‘Owo Ni Koko’, ‘Dodo’, and ‘The Money’ featuring Olamide.Davido planned to drop his album in October 2015 but held back due to an international record deal in the wings.

In January 2016 Davido reportedly signed a record deal with Sony Worldwide. ‘The Baddest’ is expected to drop this year.Davido became a father in May 2015 after he welcomed a baby girl Imade Adeleke. Her mother is Sophie Momodu who knew the pop star briefly. Davido and Sophie are currently in a custody battle for Imade.
