Hoodlums Kill Inspector, Cut His Manhood
Suspected hoodlums under the guise of #EndSARS protesters in Ebonyi have murdered a Police Inspector, Mr Egu Omini, and cut off his manhood.
The hoodlums also snatched his AK-47 rifle after attacking a police station in Abakaliki, the state capital.
The Commissioner of Police in the state, Mr Philip Maku, in a statement issued to reporters by the Police Public Relation Officer (PPRO), Mrs Loveth Odah, in Abakaliki on Thursday said the hoodlums regrouped in their large numbers on Monday, Oct. 26 and reinvaded the Central Police Station, Abakaliki for the second time, setting the station ablaze including police patrol vehicles.

Popular Singer Passes Away
Veteran singer, Prince Morroco Maduka, has died. He was 76 years old.
The singer passed away on Thursday afternoon, October 29. He celebrated his 60th year as a singer this year.
The chairman of the Anambra chapter, Performing Musician Association of Nigeria, Ikeme Mazeli, announced his passing in a statement released this evening.

20 Killed In Failed Boko Haram Attack On Army Camp
No fewer than twenty two terrorists were killed when Boko Haram fighters attacked Army Super Camp in Damboa.
In a statement by the Coordinator Defence Media Operations, Major General John Enenche, the terrorists were subdued by the superior firepower of the troops.
According to the statement, “troops of Operation FIRE BALL under Operation LAFIYA DOLE has continued to decimate members of the Boko Haram/ Islamic State of West Province in order clear the remnants of the terrorists from the theatre.

Police Officer Who Shot His Girlfriend In The Mouth Has Been Arrested
The Lagos state police command has arrested the police officer who shot his girlfriend in the mouth in Lagos on September 8.
LIB had shared the story of how the lady who was identified as Joy Eze, suffered a serious injury in the mouth after her police officer boyfriend fired a shot at her following a disagreement. The gunshot tore her mouth, leaving her in critical condition. He went into hiding after the incident.
In a statement released on Thursday October 29, the spokesperson of the Lagos state police command, Muyiwa Adejobi, said the erring officer identified as SGT Eze Aiwansone, attached to the Special Protection Unit (SPU) Base 16, Ikeja, has been arrested.

Woman Crushed To Death In Front Of Her Father’s Hotel
The Ogun Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Corps (TRACE) has said that a truck crushed a middle-aged woman at Onihale area near Owode-Ijako, Ogun on Thursday.
The Owode-Ijako Unit Commander of TRACE, Mrs Temitope Oseni, who spoke on behalf of the Corps Commander, Mr Seni Ogunyemi, said in Ota that the incident happened at about 8.23 am.
Oseni explained that a FAW truck, marked BHN 1353, was inbound Onihale area when it suddenly lost control due to brake failure and rammed into a motorcyclist and a woman who was about to alight in front of her father’s hotel.

Police Allegedly Arrest 11-Year-Old Boy Who Reportedly Participated In Attack On Edo Police Station
The Edo State Police Command has allegedly arrested an 11-year-old over his ”involvement” in the attack on a police station at Evbuotubu area of Benin City by hoodlums.
Recall that hoodlums took advantage of the #EndSARS protest to attack Oba Market Police, Ugbekun Police Station, Idogbo Police station last Monday and carted away arms and ammunitions at the armoury as well as police uniforms and other valuables.
According to Human Rights Advocate, Kola Edokpayi, a senior News reporter with the Edo Broadcasting Service, Festus Alenkhe, stated that the young boy was arrested for allegedly joining the gang of hoodlums that attacked Oba Market police station.
