Chief Sunday Adeyemo who became prominent during the Ife/Modakeke war has stated that he has the supernatural power to command gun from the air.
Popularly known as Sunday Igboho, he reportedly stated that he was ready to defend the southwest against criminals in the region. Inside Oyo specifically quoted him as saying, “if the elders and the king of Yoruba land are ready to sign a treaty” he is ready to flush out the bad people among the Fulani herdsmen in Yorubaland.
He hails from Igboho, a town in Oke Ogun area of Oyo State. He was raised in Modakeke, Osun State. The report says he was one of the warriors that defended the town during the Ife/Modakeke crisis.
He also said that some elders are benefitting from the security issue in the region and Nigeria.
He was also quoted as saying that the Fulani herdsmen tormenting the land do not have much power to destabilise the region.
Sometimes ago, he told Ibadan City, an online news platform, that why he defended Modakeke during the crisis.
“You know in the Bible and Quran also, there were different wars and people lost their lives. Now you see the Modakeke issue, I grew up there, schooled there, learnt a trade there and even married there.
“I consider myself being from there. So when war now came, I would have been an ingrate to now run away because there was war. I had to help them defend the land. God gave me the power to help Modakeke fight against Ife.
“God used me like an angel to help save the lives of the people of Modakeke. My story could be compared to the people of Israel and Moses. When the Israelites had issues with the people of Egypt and Pharaoh, God sent Moses to them to rescue them. My case could be compared to that. God used me to save lives in Modakeke,” the online platform had quoted him as saying.
