Protesting Shiites has yet again clashed with security operatives in Nigeria’s capital, Abuja, Daily Advent can report.
The protest which kicked off from Wuse market to Berger Bridge in capital territory Abuja at 4:11pm on Wednesday afternoon.
Islamic Movement of Nigeria (IMN) members regularly take to the streets of Abuja to call for the release of Zakzaky, who has been in detention since 2015.
The group, on Monday began a daily protest which ended with casualties, including the death of a deputy police commissioner. The IMN said 11 of its members were killed during the violence.
